当ショップを運営するNPO法人ふくしま浜街道トレイルアソシエーション（FCTA）は、「ふくしま浜街道トレイル」全線の管理運営を行うとともに、関係自治体や周辺施設と連携をして、トレイルの持続的な利用促進や情報発信に取り組んでいます。

車や電車での移動とは違う、歩き旅の速度は、めまぐるしい日々の生活では見過ごしがちな地域への気づきを与えてくれます。自然・環境意識をはじめ、歴史や文化、そこに生きる人々の営み、さらには震災の記憶の継承など、その観点は多岐にわたります。さらにロングトレイルの特徴である長い距離は、市町村の垣根をこえて人々をつなぎ、やわらかな交流を産み出します。皆で支え育てる道として、100年、1000年と人々に親しまれる道になることを願い、日々活動しています。

About Us – Fukushima Coastal Trail Association (FCTA)

The Fukushima Coastal Trail Association (FCTA) is a certified non-profit organization that manages and operates the Fukushima Coastal Trail. In cooperation with local governments and nearby facilities, we work to promote the sustainable use of the trail and share up-to-date information about it.

Unlike traveling by car or train, the slower pace of walking reveals details of the region that are often overlooked in our fast-paced daily lives. It fosters awareness of nature and the environment, as well as a deeper understanding of local history, culture, the lives of those who live along the trail, and the memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

The long distances characteristic of a long trail help connect people across municipal boundaries, creating gentle, meaningful interactions. We hope that, through the support of many, this trail will continue to be cherished for 100, even 1,000 years as a path for all.
